Whether it’s a logo on a hat, or a letter on a jacket, custom embroidery is a great way to set yourself apart from the crowd. Here we detail a few of the products we can embroider, as well as offer some insight into how much our custom embroidery will cost.
Pricing and general information
There are a few things that come into play when pricing a job. First off, the size and detail plays a big role in determining embroidery costs. The more detail the higher the thread count. Therefore the process is longer and uses more material. We do have a minimum of 12 pieces. On occasion, we will consider “breaking the rules” and produce a smaller quantity, but it is dependent on your needs and our relationship. We typically make exceptions for existing customers or occasional samples / prototyping projects. We understand the importance of samples and can offer this service given we all have an understanding of the time and cost involved for one offs. We have a variety of different products to choose from and can help you source the exact items you need. With thousands of product options including sustainable and organic cotton, we are sure to lock down the exact vision and strive to exceed your expectations!
What is Digitizing?
Much like screen printing, the artwork needs to be rendered for the computer to read the paths of the image and create a blueprint of the contour for sewing. We call this process “digitizing”. There is a production cost associated with this process and the price varies depending on the size and detail of the artwork. Like anything else, it is important to use vector artwork or high resolution Photoshop native files for best sew results.
“I have been working with Juan and his staff at Surrender Graphix since 2010. They do a fantastic job on my custom artwork in both silkscreen and embroidery. They are always prompt in completing the work and courteous when I pick it up. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality screen printer or embroiderer on the Monterey Peninsula”.
Carolyn Shearer- Esalen Institute
I own and operated two busy t-shirt stores on the Peninsula and would only use Surrender Graphix for my printing needs. The folks there are friendly, and most importantly efficient! Whether we are working on a new design or just re-ordering an old one, Juan is always careful to make sure that there are no mistakes in the printing process. As well, Surrender Graphix has been great in helping us out with some last minute "rush" orders. With more than one option in the Monterey area for a silk-screen printer, it was a relief to find one that understood the importance of quality and that pays attention to the details.
